SLIDING FEE SCALE

Additional Information

Our fee is determined by a sliding fee scale, and negotiated by you and your therapist on your first intake session. 

All payments are due at the time of service.  There is a $30 .00 non refundable deposit required for your first scheduled appointment, consultation sessions are free and do not require a deposit. The $30.00 deposit will be applied to your first intake session. If you reschedule your appointment 24 hours prior to your intake session you may utilize your $30.00 scheduling deposit for your rescheduled appointment within the next 90 days.


WHAT IS AN INTAKE SESSION?


The intake session is your initial assessment during which we gather vital information about you, your reason for coming, and  your therapeutic goals and the first intake session is 90 minutes.  Intakes session may continue over 2 or 3, 50 minute sessions to allow time  to develop your treatment plan.


 METHODS OF PAYMENT


In order to make fees available on a sliding fee scale possible, Just Words does not accept insurance payments at this time. However, if you have an health saving account with checks or visa cards attached to it they may be used depending on your insurer. Some insurers will pay out of network. You are responsible for all fees and must request reimbursement directly from your insurance company.  Your receipt  will serve as documentation which may be presenter to your insurer.


 

We accept cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, bankcards/debit cards, and some medical flexible spending accounts payments which are accessible through the credit card payment network.
